The exhibition CIRCUIT is dedicated to the transience of artistic moments.

CIRCUIT stands for cycle, circuit, connection. The exhibition serves as an artistic reflection on the cyclical nature of both art and the natural world, on the fleetingness of creative processes and the role of documentation as a form of memory.

Presented are three very short film-based works and six analogue black-and-white photographs.

CIRCUIT is not an exhibition about permanent works, but about ephemeral states, about what comes into being and vanishes again. These visual works preserve fleeting artistic traces and render them tangible.

In their quiet presence, they remind us that everything created is part of a larger current, a circuit of energy, form, and time.

“My artistic work combines visual art, sound, and nature in an interdisciplinary process. With a background in communication design, I have developed a distinctive form of expression over many year, one that interweaves drawing, painting, printmaking, sound art, Land Art, and performance. In recent months, working on the move has become a central element of my practice. The studio becomes mobile, shifting into the landscape, into the moment, into direct interaction with the environment. While traveling, I create temporary works from natural materials: ephemeral gestures in dialogue with nature, often lasting only briefly. The moment itself, and presence in the here and now, are essential aspects of my artistic approach. Photographs of these Land Art pieces, along with short film sequences documenting the creation process, play a vital role. They are not merely documentation, but integral to the artistic expression, quiet witnesses to fleeting moments in which nature, movement, sound, and gesture merge.

My works create spaces in which visual and acoustic layers intersect with the aim of opening new perspectives on perception, time, and our relationship with the natural world,” Jana Wilsky says.
