2025 05 07 – 06 08 Exhibited at Photography Gallery (Vasario 16-osios str. 11)
Opening May 7, 5 p.m.
The group exhibition “Pilgrimage of Memory and Anxiety” invites viewers on an emotional and introspective journey through the labyrinths of memory and the fields of collective anxiety. The works of Rusnė Ivanauskytė and Karolina Stundžytė delve into inner confrontations triggered by the shadows of the past, nostalgic imagery, and the fragility of the present. The exhibition brings together diverse media – animation, audiovisual projection, installation, and photography – through which the artists open poetic and atmospheric dimensions of emotion, interweaving individual and collective experience.
These works become a form of catharsis, inviting reflection, awareness, and the pursuit of inner peace and strength when facing adverse situations. They convey atmospheric, poetic connections between memory, identity, and collective anxiety, revealing deep emotional layers and resonances.
