On January the meeting of the management group of the project “Cross-Border Loyalty Programme for the Promotion of Culture and Tourism”, in which Panevėžys City Art Gallery also participates, took place on the Zoom platform. The project is being implemented in accordance with the European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross-Border Cooperation Program of Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus for 2014–2020.
During the meeting, the project partners from Daugavpils (Latvia), Polotsk, Vitebsk (Belarus) and Panevėžys discussed current issues, the calendar of foreseen events, shared information about the planned and completed works and problems. Representatives of the main project beneficiary (Daugavpils) and the Joint Technical Secretariat answered the questions.
Whatever the situation in the shadow of the pandemic is, the works will continue – the project partners believe that all planned events and activities will be implemented. The main event of the project organized by the gallery this year is the International Ceramics Symposium to be held in summer.
