The viewers' eye is caught by the works created during the 21st Panevėžys International Ceramic Symposium and displayed inside the Panevėžys Civic Art Gallery and in its courtyard. These are the most recent works complementing the contemporary ceramics collection of the Gallery. They were created by seven artists - participants of the current symposium: Eglė Einikytė-Narkevičienė (Lithuania), Rūta Šipalytė (Lithuania, Valery Kaltyhin (Belarus), Grigorii Molchanov (Russia), Yuriy Musatov (Ukraine), Nataliya Zuban (Ukraine) ir Jae Gyu Kim (South Korea).

Contemporary Ukrainian ceramics: experience of the last decade   

The Panevėžys Civic Art Gallery  and the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre (Latvia) have exchanged their works of art collections for two months.

Peteris Martinsons‘ (1931-2013)  artwork “The bridge from nowhere“ (1998) which was created in the  Xth Panevėžys International Ceramic Symposium was sent to Daugavpils.
